So, in my last post, I pledged that I was going to push myself to finish the 2016 Book Riot Read Harder challenge. Like the big nerd I am, I sat down with the checklist and went through each category to see where I still needed to fill in the blanks. (I had to give myself some leeway on this. My original plan was to do all books by or about POC for the challenge, but since I’m in a time crunch, I have to admit that some of the books I read do not fit that bill but do fit the challenge. Maybe next year on that.)
Anyway, I have seven (okay, eight–one is “read a book aloud to someone” and that requires my daughter’s cooperation) slots left to fill, so here are the books I’m planning to read to fill them.
