Mondays wear me out #SOL18

I got home from work today, ate dinner, and then took a nap. I’ve learned over time that setting my alarm for a half-hour or less definitely means I’ll sleep way over the time I  planned. Therefore, I set my alarm for an hour and a half because, usually, when I do that, I wake up after about a half-hour or so.

Can you guess what happened next?

That’s right: I slept for four hours. Which explains why I’m up at 12:30 a.m. prepping for classes tomorrow.

Anyway, I’m headed to bed now because, of course, tomorrow is a long day, and I probably won’t manage any kind of nap at all.

  1. Naps are so strange! For my whole life, I have been a non-napper, but in the past couple of years, I can totally fall asleep in front of the tv at pretty much any time. Drives my son crazy–much as it used to drive me crazy when my grandparents did it! Sad that at 45 I am doing the same thing that my grandparents did in their 50s and 60s!!

  2. Oh no! You must have really been tired. It is RARE that I am able to nap and even more rare to take a four hour nap!
