Therapy and Lunch #SOL18

Therapy was rough today so I am slightly out of it. I am also tired because I didn’t get enough sleep last night. Not a good combo.

On the plus side, I had pizza and soda today for the first time since I started my elimination diet.

Shout-out to my friend KK for inviting me to lunch, and super special shout-out to the two young men working at the pizza place who double-checked ingredients for me and then told me I could have olive oil on my pizza instead of tomato sauce. Extra super special shout-out to all the people who made gluten-free a widespread thing so that I could get a gluten-free crust. Also, A+ work to Virgil’s for having not disgusting soda that uses cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup.

I mean, sure, I blew through my food budget for the week for this one lunch, but it was worth it. Worth it, I say!

  1. Sometimes it is very important to have pizza for dinner! I’ve recently given up soda pop and this is making me want to pick up a can, though! Great that you can find a place that can accommodate your diet!

  2. I agree with writingandlaughing – kudos for sticking with your diet! I tried an elimination diet once…. I got so lightheaded the first day from not being able to eat enough actual calories that I gave up.
